- 1984 - B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo in Human Kinetics and Leisure Studies with post graduate studies in Engineering and Ergonomics.
- 1989 - M.Sc. at the University of Montreal in Biomedical Sciences.
- 1992 Doctor in Chiropractic from Northwestern Chiropractic College in Minnesota, USA. Extensive Training in the Gonstead Methodology
- 1992 Fellowship in Applied Spinal Biomechanical Engineering. ( ASBE )
- 1992 Associate practice in Medelia, Minnesota.
- 1993-1996 Residency program in private practice in Zürich,Switzerland
- Since 1997 Family Practice in Chur, Graubünden,
- Since 2001 Providing facility in the clinic for Chiropractic residents.
In addition to being a member of national and international chiropractic and paediatric associations, Dr. Rosemary sits on the Swiss Chiropractic Association’s Standards’ Commission (Arbitrary Court / Ethics Commission).
She serves as a Consultant to
- Chur’s City Police in Switzerland
- Senior Citizen’s Home Evangelische Alterssiedlung Masans in Chur
Dr. Rosemary’s “The Spine: Your best Friend!” is also part of the city’s Summer Day Camp program for school age children.
Sport and children are a big part of Dr. Rosemary’s practice. She has been responsible for athletes/teams/clubs in
- Rhythmic Sport Gymnastic (RSG)
- Triathlons
- Figure Skating
- including emergency care during national championships in Trampoline and RSG.
Dr. Rosemary has lectured to medical doctors, midwives, nurses, physiotherapists and chiropractors on obstetrics and paediatrics. She has taught obstetrics and paediatrics to chiropractors in the Swiss Chiropractic Residency Program. She has authored and co-authored papers on chiropractic paediatrics and obstetrics.
Dr. Rosemary has a very busy Family based chiropractic practice together with her husband Dr. Gian Joerger in Chur. They have healthy seven year old twin girls. Together the four them enjoy alpine skiing, cross country skiing , swimming, biking and waterskiing.
