Dr. Heather Yost was born and raised in Elk Horn, IA. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Iowa State University where she received a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Science. At Logan College Dr. Heather obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctorate in Chiropractic. While at Logan she extended her studies outside the regular curriculum with post-graduate studies in nutrition, pregnancy and pediatrics, and acupuncture.

Dr. Heather leads the same lifestyle she encourages her patients to lead. She is an avid runner, a bicyclist, and eats vegetarian. In her household, proper nutrition and exercise is key. Even her twin girls (3.5 years old) and son (9 months) are taught about the body and how to keep it as healthy as possible!
